- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★2018-01-11, by union jackI used this firm for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I went to their premises and spoke to a very polite and helpful lady in the office. I placed my order for a quantity of planed hardwood and within two weeks they phoned to say it was ready. Again there was a pleasant atmosphere and the forklift driver was very helpful. The timber quality is first class with no knots or shakes, ( i am a fifth generation coachbuilder, i know my timber). The finish is exellent. I have placed another order and highly recomend S.H.Somerscales to anyone requiring quality timber and quality service.
